EbbChart Insights on iPhone: a three-month chart of left-ear hearing readings at 250 Hz and 1 kHz, with the audiogram for the selected reading below.

Capture on iPhone

Take hearing tests, import audiograms from Apple Health, and record symptoms and events as they happen.

EbbChart Insights on iPad: a three-month hearing timeline at 500 Hz and 1 kHz, a selected-test audiogram, multiple tests within a day and a treatment marker.

Explore on iPad

Keep the changes in context

Track your hearing

Import hearing tests from Apple Health or take an in-app test. See how your hearing measurements change across days, weeks and months.

Log what matters

Add symptoms, medications, flights and notes when they matter to you. Keep that context alongside your hearing tests. Logging is optional.

Bring a structured report to your ENT

Bring your hearing history, medication timeline, events and notes together in a PDF for your ENT. Prepare for a more informed discussion at your next appointment.

Why EbbChart exists

Built from lived experience with fluctuating hearing loss.

EbbChart was created by someone living with cochlear hydrops who experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to understand and communicate hearing changes between clinical appointments.

Hearing thresholds can shift over days, weeks and even hours. By the time an appointment arrives, an episode of deterioration or recovery may already have passed.

A clinical audiogram captures a moment in time. EbbChart helps preserve the story between those moments.

Three steps to your next appointment

1

Bring in your hearing tests

Connect Apple Health to import saved hearing tests, or take a test in EbbChart on your iPhone.

2

Track over time

See your hearing measurements on a timeline. Look across weeks and months, or explore individual tests and changes within a day on iPad.

3

Bring it to your ENT

Create a PDF of your hearing history and the context you have recorded. Take it to your appointment to support the conversation.

Designed for fluctuating hearing loss

EbbChart is designed for people living with conditions where hearing fluctuates over time:

  • Ménière's disease
  • Cochlear hydrops / endolymphatic hydrops
  • SSHL (sudden sensorineural hearing loss) recovery
  • Fluctuating hearing loss from other causes

Most useful when hearing fluctuates

EbbChart is designed around changes in hearing over time. It is particularly useful for people experiencing fluctuating hearing loss, where measurements taken between appointments can provide valuable additional context.

EbbChart is a personal tracking tool for longitudinal hearing and symptom data. It is not a diagnostic device, does not replace calibrated clinical audiometry, and does not provide treatment guidance. Home audiogram measurements vary by device, headphones, environment and user behaviour. EbbChart reports should be treated as supplementary patient-generated context for clinical review.
